The SwiftBot Quadcopter is currently water resistant but is now looking for help to advance its design to be fully waterproof allowing it to be used over water to take photographs both above and below the waves and even capture water samples if required.

Pretty cool - but when is someone going to come up with a fully submersible quadcopter that can dive into the water and propel itself under there, then shoot straight back up out of the water and fly again? It surely doesn't seem impossible! Especially if it just snorkeled and the receiver antenna stayed above water. The GoPro is already waterproof and ready for it!
