Flight Test

I got nostalgic when opening this Collectors Edition drone kit due to the Star Wars music and light show...and the drone itself is a pretty good flyer. This is a detailed look at everything that comes in the box and I take you through setup and even the app. The second video is the flight test. Surprisingly, I think this is a good drone for beginners because of the Star Wars app simulator that allows the user to learn and practice how to fly using the remote controller. I'm not a big enough Star Wars fan to have purchased this drone at $200 when it was first released, but at a third of the original price it's a nice addition to the drone collection.

Full disclosure: the case for the first X-Wing I received was defective. It did not play music and the lights would not go out when I put the lid on.

Lol, that's definitely a misprint. The whole kit does weigh a few pounds though. The controller itself has a substantial feel to it and then the display case weighs a little bit.
