Allllrighty then, guys I've upgraded my Goggle's to spectrum focal v2's (fatshatk attitude V3)

Gear:
My vtx is the eachine tx801.
Running at 600mw (proven with my ev800 goggles the range is about 1000')

Now the diversity module just says
Fatshark FSV2445 V2

Symptom:
The image is clear but during flight I get about 100' and get maasssive breakup. The goggles are pretty much useless with this set up.

The manual says it only is compatible with fatshark tx, is that some bull crap or do I need to either get a matching brand vtx diversity module?

Also totally weird going from massive FOV box goggles to a TINY 32degree fov. Not sure if I like it yet help so I can fly with real goggles lol.
Thanks

I use those goggles with 3 different eachine 801s lol. However my focals still have the original stock module and here is my report.

The goggles work great with every quad I own and that's flying 200-300+meters. However one quad is doing similar to what you describe and I'm thinking it's motor noise coming off the quad.

My first set and the only ones I've used the focal V2s are even on my dog in my profile pic lol.

Hey yeah I saw you and I are both having motor noise issues from my other post. Sense I've fixed the quad with the seperate plastic mount for my rp-sma i haven't tried them again. The battery pack is dead and I don't have a charger for their battery.

Kinda nerve racking sending my quad up with a sketch gear to test lol.

I will give it another shot with them once I get my battery charged up. If I remember correctly I was still getting a tiny bit feedback when armed up close.

My fatshark battery has a mini usb port on it for charging, just noticed it the other day lol, check on the back and see if yours has it.

Motor noise I made some changes too and ordered a new vtx, the eachine 802. It is different than the 801s, thought it might be worth a try.

Out of 7 quads, 3 have eachine 801s and only one loses video. Gotta keep trying different stuff til something works lol.

My mistake I was using the ts832, the massive chunk of a vtx when I go the breakup at 200'
Lucky man my battery has no USB port, I'll find a charger that works for mine.
I now have the ts801 so poop maybe I just need to sack up and see how far my bird goesbefore I get the breakup.

So variables for me to fix are:
New fully charged battery
New vtx (801)
And new antenna mount with no motor noise

Might be a while before I can budget a way to power my goggles but I'll keep flying with my ev800's and keep this updated with news!!
