software to render 4K

Hi all...
Has anyone got any suggestions on video editing software so I can render my vids in 4k.. I have the Q500 4k but the only editing software I have has 1080p as a maximum resolution .
Im not looking for expensive software... just basic editing but will 4k rendering.

Have you looked at Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum?

For the price I think it's a viable solution.

What type of editing are you using to need the ability to render in 4K? If only editing then the options are going to be a lot simpler than if you need to do some 3D, 4K rendering.
 
Im not bothered about 3D rendering.. but 4k is what I want... ive had adobe premier elements 14 recommended to me, its reasonably priced and looks quite good. ive also looked at NERO Video Premium 2. its half the price of the adobe and it does render in 4k.. but Im not sure.. ill have to look more into it.
