Seeking full refunds via PayPal Dispute ....

Just a thought, I have seen many post around a the quad forums - which relate to the Chinese stores wanting to issue credits rather than an refund to your PayPal. I read on one store that to expect a return to PP will take 45 days.

If we buy on eBay use PP and the seller fails to supply a working -usable product - we can invoke bot eBay and PP to handle a dispute claim - no matter what T and C the seller states.

So presumably a PP dispute can be raised against a Chinese store wanting to issue credit notes rather than refund to PP and if such a demand is made... at least one store says it will take 45 days. WHich is just a bully boy tactic.

So have any of you who had a rubbish quad dumped on you - have you thought about a PP dispute or if you have and sorted it... can you let us know please....

Thanks for this post, this is part of the reason i only use Paypal, that money back garantee is great haha.
Sitrep!

I posted on the PayPal forum and also sent off a query using PPs contact us stuff. They have yet to reply - but one of PPs responders...basically confirms the process used if implemented on eBay applies to all PP transaction - not sure that would apply to their newish high street store payment methods - but the guy states that PP would get involved with the Chinese store and would expect me to return the item at my cost.
So in effect, I suspect that the Chinese stores are in front of the game and do the same which mostly disarms using PP disputes procedure.
From Aussie using OzPost an under 2KG parcel with a specified physical size and shape would cost me - rounded up AU$55. The offer of a new second quad for - in my case - US$100 is likely to deter most as it has me and I guess rather than go through hassle with the seller and PP, its easier to take a credit.
I will contact China and advise the seeming faulty Tx and ask if they will supply FOC a replacement.
