Just wondering if I can mount the receiver above the FCB? I don't think I'll have any interference problems but I thought I'd check first.

I've know people to mount their reciever under the flight controller, using really tall nylon standoffs. Mine is actually mounted hanging from the top of my frame. (If I could figure out how to shrink pictures on my phone I would post a picture)

That's OK, I know what you mean. I'm going to put it on top of the FCB with some 3mm standoffs

Theres a picture reducer app for both iphones and android.

Looks like you got lots room there to set it on the frame with the connectors and wires facing up. Much less chance of them working loose. There's a lot vibration and add in some crashes too. Best you check them all time and make sure they are firmly seated. Looks like a potential problem to me, nor do I see a reason or purpose for mounting it that that way.

Just trying new things out, thinking about mounting my video Tx under it, and putting the antenna up through the hole where the battery lead is, and moving that somewhere else.

Worked out nicely. The top half of a CC3D case fitson top of the Nazead it'ssticky taped on. Still have about1/4clearance

When I say kit, yeah it was just parts so I had to build it First time, and I think I've changedthe layout 3 or 4 times. Going to change it again this weekend and put the ESCs back on the arms. They just take up too much room
