RE : Printer layers shifting issue

I brought up this issue on one of my last threads.
This thread is a follow-up as well as a weird solution possibly applicable to certain models...…………...

Printer : Creality Ender 3
Slicer : Cura 4.3, occasionally Cura 3.4.1

OK. I was printing Dino, the dinosaur from Flinstone. The model consists of 17 stl files. Biggest size is the Body. It takes 8 hours + to print.
I imported the Body file to the slicer. The orientation is with its front side facing East and backside facing West.
Then I did the slicing > saved it to a sd card > to the printer for printing.
Disaster. I left the printer running overnight. Woke up and found the layers had shifted to the right. See screenshot...….

I tried again, but this time I oriented the model with its front side facing South, back side facing North > sliced it and saved to a sd card.
Printing is coming along perfectly. It's not done yet, but I don't expect any issue this time. I'll post the result when printing is done.

MY question : Why orientation of the model in the slicer makes the difference?

Rotating the model may change where snag points build up but good find on some way to work around the issue.
