Questions about first build

I am going to be building my first quad. I am going to be using the attached pic for wiring it all up. I understand what everything is doing. There is the TBS Unity module for the video streaming, the FrSky module i assume this is for control. On the pic attached is by the LED strip is a DSM module, what does this module do ? I am puzzled

The R-XSR and DSM modules are both receivers. It's just showing both as an option depending what radio you are planning on using. R-XSR is FRSky and DSM is Spektrum
 
On more dumb question the video transmitted transmits what is on the other end to receive i did not seem to find anything googling ?

FPV Goggles have a receiver in them. Or you can get something like this that will plug into an android device and you can see the video after downloading a free app.

Curious.. do you already have a FrySky radio transmitter? (remote controller)

I have been flying with some lousy Eachine VR007 goggles the past two years and just recently bought those goggles rtf bundle as a personal birthday present to myself.. and now I know what I have been missing out on. I love them!

Lol, the OP as like someone said a bit powerful for a first build.
He you can learn to drive in in a ferrari but it's not advisable.
