Hi there,
i am totally new to RC, but i am interested in building a quadrotor for a research purpose and i have started reading related papers and articles and started to work on it, on my way, i found few problem when i was to calculate the quadrotor constants, upto now i have calculated the inertial moment but i need to calculate the thrust constant (k) and the drag constant (b) of a BLDC motor of 980kV , 0.55A/10V no load current, 11.1V lipo. can any one please explain me how to calculate this constants.

Is english a second language for you? Can you try to reword that last sentence?

yes, sorry about my english.
i need to find thrust constant and the drag constant. are there any equations for this ?

Not that I know of for quadcopters as the drag depends in the frame's shape and style. I imagine that you could find out the drag using a traditional equation(D = Cd * A * .5 * r * V^2) provided you are able to calculate the reference area of whichever frame you are using.
