Quadcopter Underground - Low Light Problem

I shoot a lot of caving videos. I want to introduce Quadcopter footage to this sport.
I know DJI sells their own camera and GoPro Hero5 is now out. I am also looking at the YI 4K camera.
Cave lighting is not always that good. I am looking for suggestions on which cameras do best in low light before I drop $800-$1000

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mate would you not be better off adding lights to the quad , you can even add it to the gimbal so its follows the camera
I would say the Go pro ,I have the first YI its great for the price but not a match to Go pro

Yes, that would be ideal, but I am not too familiar with Quads yet.
Some caves have very large open spaces requiring me to use several large HID lights to light them up (15,000 - 20,000 Lumen)

Much to big to mount on a DJI Quad. Lighting will have to be done from the ground.

Regarding the Yi and the GoPro Hero 5, I would agree the GoPro is probably better overall, but for low lighting, the YouYube videos say the Yi is better.
I'll watch the link you attached.

Thanks,
Mike

I watch the link. The GoPro is better at daylight shots, but the Yi is better at night shots is seems (Time Segment 7:21). Image is brighter on the Yi.

Yes thats true but the only thing I dont like about my YI is no monitor to see what the camera sees,
have you seen how bright the new leds head lamps are they make them for the quads so dont eat battery , they are that bright you can look at them when on
