2 years ago i built up my first quad copter. after a while flying it i inevitably crashed it and punctured the battery some how. I never got round to fixing it but i spotted it today and i want to get it back running but i need a re design. its was running a kk2 board but i never had much luck with it. was looking at the naze 32 but i'm not 100%. i think the main downfall was my basic controller that i couldn't dial in the trims on so id like a new controller as well. any help or advice would be appreciated.

my brother and his friend don't have any probs at moment,, don't think they go any further than 50m though..

fast little things,, ... SO BUY SPARES WHEN BUYING

the whole package is cheap so wouldn't expect the best,, if you intend spending a few ££$$ ,, then go for a frysky transmiiter,, the taranis model can be bought second hand pretty cheap on ebay.. or new for around

this is more than a transmitter,, more like a transceiver (communicates to and fro, rather than just transmit), this enables real time gps data and onscreen map with drone location amongst other things like volts, amps, mah used, failsafes , audio warnings,, and loads more... WELL WORTH THE MONEY ..

check this out -- latest mavlink on latest firmware using taranis,, STEP BY STEP SET UP

When buying a naze32,, go for the 10dof and not he 6dof version, or if a pro,, the 6 may be the better choice .
