Quadcopter part picker app

I was thinking about making an app for iOS and Android that would allow the user to easily choose compatible parts for a multirotor. It would give you settings and options for the size, budget, etc. It would also give descriptions of all of the parts and give links to retailers like HobbyKing or Amazon. Is it a good idea? Do you think it would be useful? Please, any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
Sounds like a great idea. Not sure of the legality of links in apps, but if you provide part numbers peeps can shop anywhere they want.
