Quad frames

I have a lot of quaestions but lets start with this one. There are a lot of frames for quadcopters. some in carbon fiber and some in fiberglass. From my understanding people prefer carbon fiber since it's stronger. Am I wrong on this? I was looking at prices for carbon fiber frames and they can range from 50$ to a few hundreds. I've picked up two could you tell me what the main differences are? Any recommendations as a frame or a canadian website for drones? Thanks a lot,
