qav105 drifts in angel mode only

hi everyone...my little qav105 flies perfectly except in angel mode. it drifts hard to the left no matter how much I trim the accelerometer. everything is calibrated. so I've been through all the basic stuff. it has a bluely setup. I've read this happens a lot with little quads. I soft mounted the fc also thanks

Does it not do the same in horizon or acro mode. If it did it would be a weight issue.
Sometimes the trim allowed is not enough to counteract the weight, but that's in extreme cases. Maybe try a gyro reset.
Failing that do the board reset but don't reload any backup PID settings. Do it fresh.

hi thanks it drifts ONLY in angel mode which is weird. flies perfectly in every other mode. I've calibrated and trimmed things out several times but it didn't help in the long run

Ok My Problem has now been solved, Even tho it does not make sense for this to effect this fault, It does, more so on crafts with low weight and heaps of thrust.
Turning off Damped Light/Active braking in ESC BLHELI Solved this angle mode problem.

Would be nice if some one could figure out why this happens in angle/horizon mode only tho. As its beyond my skills to check code etc

thanks guys! I may have found the problem after driving myself crazy. it seems as if my 4 blade gem fan props were causing the problem. the blades are very flexible so all four blades on any given prop were never aligned. the blades are great in acro mode though and they are quiet but I'm a beginner and I need angel mode. so I threw on some brand new blades from my King Kong et115. they are 3 blade props and the are rigid. I love the way the quad flys now. its still not perfect but I can trim it and have it always drift to the right instead of always drifting to the left no matter how much trimming I did. I guess the blades cause a lot of noise that got to the accelerometer. fingers crossed. I have to fly it more. thanks again!
