Yours , as in you have a Tarot ? Why 1400 motors ?
 
Mine as in Quadcopter, not a Tarrot frame I build mine out of aluminium.

Glad to see you hardwiring your connections . I learn'd that over many years of RC.

Mine will take a while to build as we have a son in college.

As I stated earlier , I've got to get these Syma X5's learned 100% first.

I appreciate all your feedback as there is a ton of different builds out there.
 
You don't, it is just makes getting power to all of your ESCs neater and easier. If you look at mine you'll see that I just soldered wires into a power distribution harness. in the end I may etch a one out of copper clad PCB. Some of the fancy ones will offer cleaner power (less fluctuation and less RFI/EMI) and even offer a step-down regulator for your FPV setup.
 
Acts as a PBD and 4x25 amp ESCs. I almost bought one, but did not. Also in the third picture (below), it appears to be a Rx or MB. Any idea what it is. I guess it could be power for accessories, but that does not explain the white wire.

There are some cool budget frames here. The prices vary, but you should at least give them a peek. If you can get free shipping all the better, because it could cut down your shipping from HK.
 
I'm really leaning towards a Naza M flight controller.
If there's an area not to skimp on with this Tarot , I'd guess this would be it.
The Q Brain 25 seems to have good reviews also.

I rec'd my Tarot 650 a few weeks ago but havn't even had time to open the box.

Crazy VT winter here with a ton of snow.

I'll probably start with a Q Brain 25x4 and some Tarot 700 kv motors
