problem with one motor?

Hi all,

finished the build and turned it on... but one of the motors is acting funny?

when i put the throttle to about 1/4 up it spins but then slows then speeds up and slows... is it the esc or the motor? first time build noob so i dont know what to do :/
 
Have a look at the endpoints in blheli for each esc. 2 little sliders underneath direction. Do all four match what is in configuration for low, mid, high endpoints.
Did you calibrate esc's.
Check the Solder joints on that motor line back to the FC & pdb. If using one.
A signal wire with a dry joint can pass intermittent signals & the esc can say woah stop.
 
Maybe he got it going but forgot to apply failsafeo_O. He's now hip deep in nettles.
Oh that's terrible, just because it happened to me. Nettles, not a flyaway.
Only it ended up, not in the nettles & 15' away. I should have took a pic of my legs but I was made up I got my first bird back. It was worth the unnecessary pain.
:). Quite a few join this site for one liners. I'd like to know the amount of kit out there that's not being used. Just from the ppl been on here alone.
aah they come & go. :(
