Bought a used turbo ace X-830 with a Naza M V-2 Controller. Inspected everything, preformed bind, calibrated compass, programmed Spectrum DX-8. Everything seems to work just fine except the throttle control. I tethered it to a brick and did some testing with it. After enabling the motors you have to go above 50% stick position to get the motors to energize and going below 50% stick position causes them to cut out. When they are at 50% stick position they are at a very high rate of speed. If I really work the throttle gently I can get them down slightly below 50% without cutting out. I'm trying to figure out if this is a radio programming problem or an ESC programming issue.
On the DX-8 my throttle curve is linear from 0% to 100% throughout the travel of the stick. On the servo set up the throttle travel is 100% and 120% I set it this way because that was what was giving me full travel when hooked up to the DJI GUI for the Naza V-2. When tethered all other stick commands appear normal. It's just that the motors cut out at such a high throttle position. I want my throttle to have full range not 50% to 100%. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
