Problem bringing quadcopter back down

Hi! I cant be the only one who had problems sometimes when trying to bring the copter down from heights (as low as 10-15 meters sometimes) when it's windy outside...

Do you guys have any tips how to get it down safely?
 
Hi mate it hard to bring them down due to them being fixed pitch , how to do it is, fly a fig of 8 getting lower when in forward flight till your ready to land
 
Even I also don't know how to bring quadcopter down. Because of this many times my quadcopter crashed.
 
Hi Samuel , Like Anton said if you shut off the motors the quad will flip over , there is 2 ways to get it down, 1 is to fly a fig of 8 and as you get in to the forward flight part reduce throttle a little and as you have some forward cyclic it will start to reduce it height, the other way is to fly forwards and backwards and slowly reduce throttle it will start to reduce height , as your skill level comes up your be able to fly circles reducing height all the way down

One thing i did with those toy rc planes was to drive round in circles with low throttle eventually going down, you think that will work or is it the two things you mentioned?
 
And also when you say figure 8, with only the right stick going forward and back and a little bit sideways or with the left stick always going forward just turning the direction of the quadcopter?
 
Its the same if your going forwards backwards just use cyclic( right stick mode 2 transmitter ) just dont give to great an angle of attack to the quad , a plane has lift all the time its moving a quad only has its motors
