Phantom 3 Stnd vs Mini Mavic

Hello,

I had a DJI standard 3 which I recently lost, long story. I want to get flying again but I don't have the cash to invest a ton of money so I have come up with two options. Since I have all the gear for the phantom, extra batteries, contorller etc, I could simply purchase a used phantom 3 drone only. The other option is to purchase a new Mavic Mini. I have looked at the specs for both and with exception of distance, they cameras, flight time seem similar. The standard 3 drone only option is the cheaper option but I like the idea of the smaller Mavic.

With this in mind, I am asking for input on which option folks suggest and why. Are they pretty close in spec specs for pic/video quality, and real distance? There is about a $ 200 extra cost for the Mini Mavic.

Any input is greatly appreaciated and thanks in advance for your assistance.

I'd stick with the Phantom not just because you have the gear for it, smaller for me doesn't necessarily mean better, more chance of losing it in the sky and breaking it it since it's foldable, other reasons might be that the 2 birds are very different as are gimbles, that's my 2 cents worth on the subject.

Standard is my vote. Only caveat. Try to buy local and get a test flight if possible.
WAY TOO MAY RIP OFFS OUT THERE.
Sorry

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I was really leaning with the Standard. I loved mine but I was taken by the size of the Mavic but I was really comfortable the Standard and its performance.
Thanks again.

That might explain the Phantom 3 Pro I recently saw going for $300, only thing is they are selling on a site that if the buyer is not satisfied they don't get paid, so why bother with a ripoff?
