hi again, thanks for help/ advice thus far , iv e been reading a bit about this subject, and impulse buying bits and bobs...so far i have an omnibus f4 v3 pro, it came without leads/plugs or pin headers..but no matter.. i can solder..i also have a matek pdb board with an xt60 plug to be solderd on also 4 x dji 2212 920kv motors, and today i got an akk fx2 vtx board, my two big mistakes so far would probably be the 4 x esc ..they were cheap ! simonk 30amp, and the thing that started this ..the frame...i got it ages ago and i now relise its not very upto date!!! its a f450 clone, any advice on what my best options are with this equipment so far, ..i dont have a transmitter or batteries yet or any camera
thanks again

Hi, yes i guess.. I just wasn't sure about the frame.. It's quite a big heavy thing.. Are the motors suitable?.. i suppose the ESC,s are usable?..
Cheers
M.

That old tank of a frame was pretty much bullet proof and if you do break an arm was cheap to fix i had a f450 frame for years flys well too

I forgot to add when buying any frame look at the spares can you get them easy you don't want to be grounded for weeks waiting for parts

Looks good.. Would a 30 x 30 stack fit in it ?
Yes it's for the 30x30 stack. It's also lighter than the 450 however it might break easier but replacement arms are readily available. The 8" carbon frame also looks more modern for freestyle but the old 450 is very good for aerial photography.

The beauty of this hobby and building your own is that it's all up to you lol.
