Its always windy this time of year here (Queensland Outback Australia) But Today was Reasonable .. So I Charged some Batteries and off We Went Out Bush..............
Anyone that has lived in a small country town knows in 15 mins you can be in the middle of no where and so We were a while back the Missus found this cool little treeless area its Dry at the moment But would be a small Billabong when it Rains (No I am not Smoking anything .. its Australian Aboriginal (Oops can I say that?... Eerr Uumm Indigenous Australians ) Political correctness ).. A Billabong is a small Lake very small in this case more of a flood plain When full it would be no more than a meter deep ....... Dry somewhere open to Fly
A bit of a slow crawl over rocks and rubbish but nothing the XJ Cant Handle (Just.Empty.Every.Pocket)
First up was the Syma X20 Beast Single Hand Control a bit of wind and it was all over the place LOL! ..... Test your skills that's for sure ... and I am Not Skilled LOL!
Next the Syma X25SW took to the Air! I don't even bother to start the app or link the phone anymore do the dance set the GPS I just fly it line of site speed runs and circles Hung up in a Tree once LOL! ..... Then Out came the Phantom ..... But I must say the X25 was the Star of the Show so much Fun to Fly

I was thinking about training my wife to do that (chase my quad, not a roo). She has a problem of moving quickly on hands and knees though, plus her mouth is too small (well for that at least). If my wife reads this, I'm dead!

Out again today the weather was kind a warm day and low wind speed 11kph ..... jumped on the Old Just Empty Every Pocket and headed Bush to our favourite flying field on the way in there was a Emu and Chicks ... Big Bird sorta makes you wonder what it would be like walking with dinosaurs ....... left the Syma X25 home today it was Phantom a the Bush! day did some practice tracking Herbie I need more FPV practice as I keep looking away from the screen and confusing Myself .............. Got some good pics and video I might be no Cecil B De Top Gun .. But one day I will get that Epic Roo chase!
