Test flew my new Orange & White H8D that I built from parts for $40.
Found that all the LED turn off including the red taillights.
Also the camera stopped transmitting after a couple minutes. Seems every receiver has it's own quirks. At least I had the sense to tether the magnetic wide angle lens with a dab of hot glue.
I have about 30 flights on my original Red & Black with only 2 dead motors, both black brush caps.
What really kills the motors is any power with them locked rotor. The commutator is a 5 pointed pentagon and the hair brushes last milliseconds locked rotor.
