OmnibusF4 Pro v3/FrSky R-XSR Not Communicating? FIXED!!

Good Morning All! For some reason my new FC and RX aren't playing together nicely. I'm running iNav 2.2.1 and everything seems to be working except the receiver page shows all channels @ 1500. The newer version of this FC is supposed to have an internal SBUS inverter and I've tried both the inverted (direct from the RX pin) and the un-inverted signal (direct from the "B" pad on the RX board per Oscar Laing) and still the receiver page shows straight 1500 on all channels. Supposedly on the newer Omnibus F4 Pro boards UART1 is assigned to the GPS and UART6 is assigned to the RX (I believe iNav recognizes correct ports?) and if I reverse the UART assignments I loose the GPS so I'm pretty sure the UART assignments are correct. Yes, I have set the receiver type correctly to SBUS on the configuration page. I'm fairly confident the RX is connected correctly and recognized by the FC because if disconnect the receiver it shows "no receiver" on the configuration page. I have also tried another receiver (XR4-SB) with the same results. I've worn a hole in the internet searching for a fix over the last 24hrs. Any help for this "Nube" would be greatly appreciated.... JW

EDIT: I just found a YouTube video about soldering/jumping the SBUS pad to the ground and did that, still straight 1500 all channels on the receiver page....

I did solder those two pads together, still 1500 on all channels on the receiver page. Odd that's the only thing not working and it's the same when powered by USB or battery. Starting to wonder if the FC is a dud. That would be my luck. JW

I can't remember where I came across "on the newer Omnibus F4 Pro boards UART1 is assigned to the GPS and UART6 is assigned to the RX" in my lengthy search but that's also the way it (on a PNP quad) originally came from the 'factory", when it wouldn't connect corectly I did a complete restore to default settings and went through the configuration again. It won't recognize the RX on anything but UART6, same for the GPS on UART1. I 'm going to check on updating the RX. Also may delete/reload iNav on my computer and restore the FC (again) to factory setting and create a new model on my TX. Not sure what else to try at this point.

FIXED!! I missed the wiring from the R-XSR....I assumed yellow was SBUS (NOT!) and I was sending the Smart Port signal not the SBUS. I just noticed I had the SPORT and SBUS reversed. It's working now and I am a dumbass....now I can finish setup. Sorry for all the drama. JW
