Sort of have to agree if I wanted real danger I would get into a real extreme sport like wingsuits or downhill longboarding, the goal with fpv for me is to get the thrill minus the huge risk of personal dismemberment or death.
 
Maybe I can get some FPV goggles for work, then I wouldn't have to risk my life commuting every weekday ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I honestly think there'd be too much air traffic for any practical application of airborne commuter service.

Expense of landing area security, equipment safety certification, all the FAA requirements,

As far as landing area's go, I can't find a parking space big enough for a corolla, let alone a people caring quad,,,,,,,,,,
