Bugs 2 recharging, so fool around in the garden with my old Syma x5c. Forgot to go to high rates, touch of wind...bye bye Syma!!! Saw it fly several gardens down and disappear. Popped notes through several doors. Two days of heavy rain and when I got in this afternoon there is Syma sitting on my front doorstep, no idea who found it but that's good neighbours for you. Popped in a new battery and off she went good as new!!! Having the GPS on my Bugs has lolled me into a false sense of security!! Very glad to have the first quad I learnt on back!!

May you should stick an address label on your aircraft - I did that a couple of years ago when I lost my Elev-8 in the woods behind my house. It crash landed in between two parallel lines of black plastic barriers - probably walked right past it while searching.... Anyway, a construction guy found it and came to my door. Fortunately, we had good weather so it wasn't exposed to rain. But it suffered some moderate damage which I repaired and still flies. My Elev-8, which has been extensively modified, and my Tarot which I am currently building have my FAA ID on them, though I don't know if anyone would be savvy enough to contact the FAA to locate me if I lost either one....

Add a little weight or bigger lipo to help with wind. I like flying in wind, battery killer against but crazy speeds with.
Don't fly around the house much though except maidens. Not worth going all way down beach to find it don't work properly.

hehe I say that to the cat.

The drone, Sylvester, is a "he."

The cat, "Mad dog" is a she, but the colonel didn't realize that.
