Not sure how I got hooked, but...I got hooked

Gadget Inspector

Be good to somebody and be good to yourself.
I wasn't thinking about a quadcopter, rc plane or anything else controlled by a transmitter. Back in April I bought a Cheerson CX-10C for like $15 on a website called Meh, just because. Man, after flying that thing around the house a couple hundred times I needed more. I had to have more. Next thing I know, I have a basement full of quadcopters (about 20 now) and I don't expect that trend to end anytime soon. I am definitely a bargain shopper, but if something gets great reviews and flies nice, I'm there. Eventually, I worked my way up to GPS quads and it almost made me lose my enthusiasm for the hobby.

Anywho, I'm glad I stumbled upon this forum. I see there are lots of other people out there just like me.

Here's a thread I created which is kinda like a video journal of my experience with GPS quads: http://quadcopterforum.com/threads/my-gps-quad-journey-from-the-crash-to-grief-recovery.10823/

Long and short...I am still having FUN!!

Sounds like you have something from every "genre" in your hangar. Glad to know I'm in good company.

Hi I have I have a buggy as well but it's really not that fast about 25mph . I would like a plane but need space to take off and land lol

There are some cool RC planes out there, but I'm so stuck on quads that I haven't gotten one yet. XK has a cool looking one and WLToys has some inexpensive ones: the F949 is like $50 and the F959 is about $60. I've been scoping out the F959 for a while but it just won't drop in price.

The 949 is a clone of the Eflite trainer if it's a good clone it will be tough and take a crash well if it was me I would get this one so you learn to land on undercarriage
