Recently bought my first drone as a hobby. Huanqi H899c. I've flown it 3/4 times not had any problems. Turned the controller on today, then the drone, controller beebed to sync and lights were steady flashing on the drone. Camera on the gimble was moving and responding, but the drone was completely unresponsive ? Please help an enthusiastic begginer !

I just found it but would have to dig deeper as it's what I call a toy grade. it's heavy though @ 580g without battery Did you get instructions with it & are you sure the battery are OK. Sometimes if you run them right down a few times it can kill them. So try a new battery. If not then you need to find out what board is in it or send it back to the shop. If you have no clue about electronics or don't own a soldering iron & don't wish to void the warranty. Send it back. The worst is you have a spare battery but a wait for a new toy.

I found it but not much info about motors or its guts. Looks like it's a brushed motor with pinyon gears. Not a fan of because if they are bad quality you are not going to get long out of them. Is yours Orange & black aswell. There must be a way to reset it in a button combo or something.

Yes it's orange. I got the electrician at work to test the battery which had been on charge for 8hrs. 7.4v Battery only had 3v. Think I found my problem.

A lesson on troubleshooting. Assume nothing. Many times when I mention 'test the battery voltage,' they reply that they just charged it. You now have another thing to diagnose, is the battery bad or is the charger. Maybe the electrician can look at the charger.

At 3V (1.5V per cell) the battery is probably toast.
