Newbie

Yeah my iMax B6 also had that problem. I took it apart but nothing seemed wrong. You gamble with buying a clone instead of the real thing when you buy one of those chargers online so I just chalked it up as a faulty charger and bought a new one of the same model. This charger seems to work fine but I guess only time will tell.

EDIT: However, there are many videos on youtube about fixing the "Connection Break" error, though none of them worked for me.

Any suggestions of a good charger as I didn't go for the "cheap" option intentionally ?
Thanks again guys use have been spot on

I use the iMax B6. But the first one I bought just stopped working a week ago and I had to buy another one. They often make fake ones and sell them which I guess don't work AS GOOD so you run the risk of that if you try to buy one. You will have to buy a AC Adapter as this does not come with one.

You would think so. But I guess they are pretty close clones to they sell for about the same price. It's a good mid-range charger, I guess you get what you paid for instead of one of the like $80 ones.

Hi guys the Imax chargers are very good but on the clones they under charge and over charge , the best one at the moment at a good price is this one

Your need a power pack to go with it too
Always plug in the balance lead the charger needs this to monitor the cells , this is why you get connection break if the balance plug is not connecting to the charger right this will also do it ,I have a 6 cell battery that plays up on the balance plug but I just press it till I get the cells to read on the display
If you want to go for that charger and dont know what power pack to get just ask me or George

It may not be the charger may be the problem or the balance lead , you must get a reading from all cells on the charger display so it will charge right , if you have a battery checker use this to see what the cells are dont got below 3.2v a cell , I never go below 3.7v a cell and my batteries are 2 years old , If you look after the lipos they will last
