Newbie Wisdom ( the hard way )

I'm with roadkill. Poorer but happy! I really need the weather to break here in VA. I keep changing my quad and spending more on tweaking it trying to make it better. I just need to fly it or I'll end up broke! I'm having so much fun building that flying is just gonna be the icing on the cake. Hey roadkill, buy extra props and maybe a arm or two. No sense waiting for shipping to cut into flying/crashing time.

Good advice. I bought a apare set of 8" props but I guess I'll need to buy in bulk. I'll order a set of arms to. It would be a pain to have to wait for a simple part.
I'm not afraid of crashing...... just don't wan't to do it in front of people.... unless they are quadcopter nuts like me and want a good laugh. I will always know that they went through the same learning curve as I'm going through and I can smile with them.

Hi Roadkill, I know what you mean ,Band Of Brothers, trust me we all have crashed some a lot more than others , quads are cheap to fix normally , You want to try helicopters most crashes are £50+ my boys cost £150 when he crashed the 450 heli

I fit into the "more than others" category.

Check out this video, it is at real time, he uses 6x4.5 props cut down to 5" props.
