Newbie throttle problem on vortex 285

Hi guys this is my first post and I am a total newbie to r/c . Treat myself to a vortex 285 lemon receiver and satellite and spektrum dx6i dsmx ...............after binding and set up when I turn it on it idles for a while then when I increase throttle it starts racing away and becomes uncontrollable and the vortex is beeping away the only to stop it is by throttle stick left for shut down.......can anyone please help

Welcome to the forum and the crazy world of multirotors, that's quite the beast for someone just starting out in the hobby. Did you just bind the receiver, turn it on and try to fly it or have you downloaded the Cleanflight GCU and done the initial setup and calibration?
