Newbie intro

Hello all, felt the need to give a intro of who I am and what I'm doing here. 51 YO located in OKC, Telcom career, currently flying a phantom 3, flown two other mini's and had a blast mostly inside a house only to learn the phantom 3 is much easier (not in the house), enjoying videos from racing quads to slow motion videos. Been reading this forum for a short time and have found out I know very little about this subject and have so many questions I don't even know where to start. Currently I'm contemplating how to hone in my skills as a pilot, of course keep flying the phantom as much as possible, but to fly inside with a mini ( currently worn two out doing this) , but keep my bearings about me when I don't have time to fly the phantom or weather permitting does not allow. I've noticed there are some very educated players in this subject which makes me feel like I'm in the right place for solid answers. I'm not 100% sure, my entry thought to this is to make money through many avenues and mostly advertisement, good luck to me on that one. Anyway, from what I have read and some of what I understood, I'm home.

Yes, welcome and don't feel bad about not knowing much. It's the acronyms that throw me and the tech talk that messes me up. All I am interested in is flying my quad and eventually figure out what these 'experts' are talking about. I've been on this forum for several months and still feel like a newbie.
