Newbie can't power up

Hello all!
I just bought a couple of QuadCopter drones on Amazon. Quadcopter is all the box says, no brand visible. I've followed all the instructions up to the point where they tell me to turn on the QC (power button on top/middle) and I should see a flashing LED to indicate readiness. As I press the button, I see the two tiny headlight LEDs flash once momentarily, but no flashing LED. And of course, there's no response to any controller commands.

Sorry if the question is too vague, with no manufacturer/brand, but is there any hidden trick I'm supposed to do to enable this thing to power up? Batter is fully charged. And I took drone #2 out of its box and tried it, same thing, so it's probably not a defective unit.

Pardon my contradiction, but Amazon does not sell you a product with no names.
I've dealt with Amazon for years.
Please post a link to the 2 quads you bought from Amazon. Maybe one of us can take it from there.

A few hours later, after thinking I had tried everything, I found that it's necessary to hold the power button down for 3-4 seconds, after which the two LED headlights do indeed start to flash. Communications established, thank you.
And, pardon my contradiction, but Amazon did sell me this product, and I have the packing and instruction manual in front of me. No sign of any brand identification beyond "QUADCOPTER DRONE".

sounds like one of the miricles they sell for" only one hundred dollars". The industry is full of that carp right now.
