Newb rebuilding a Storm Drone 6

Hey.
Loved getting some tips from this forum, thanks very much.
I'm a newbie drone builder after getting hold of a faulty Storm Drone 6.
The guy said his friend crashed it and after getting hold of it and repairing what he could he lost patience as it was slowly spinning in the air.
Anyway.... I got hold of it, took it apart, reassembled it a hey presto it worked fine....until I started medling anyway.
Rather than just fly it and have fun I decided to jump right in and start upgrading it so I bought a Tarot XYZ-M and OSD kit and retractable landing gear kit. Everything went well and after finishing the build and calibrating it I tried it and it went up like dream, legs retracted great and then it landed great. It has a basic 2 axis gimble and GoPro attached.
Now however, it won't get off the ground without flipping backwards! I've got it balanced great and have a Storm 5500mah battery that's fine but it seems to me as though there's not enough power to lift it!
Can anybody shed any light on what it might be please?
All settings are fine in Tarot flight assistant on the laptop, it's balanced and battery charge is full but it struggles to get off the ground.

So that means you did in fact fly it?

So you are saying that if flew fine then out of the blue didn't? You changed nothing and didn't crash?

It worked fine after I took it apart and reassembled it originally with the Naza lite unit installed and it worked ok and flew.
I wanted to be able to set a flight path for it to follow which the Naza lite fc can't do so I bought the Tarot fc after reading the manual online about using a ground station and autopilot. I now know this just means for return to home and the Tarot fc doesn't actually support setting waypoints etc.
Anyway it worked fine after I installed the Tarot tc. It took off, hovered and landed fine once but since then it acts as described above.
Once armed, the motors spin fine and you can here them ramping up as I increase thrust and then just as you think it's going to take off it goes up a couple inches and then tips back and flips upside down.
