Newb here that needs help with a RTF

I purchased an Ei-Hi S911C for my son for Christmas, we flew it twice, and apparently on the second flight my circuit board burnt in a spot. Now my quad does not respond to my remote? The quad lights up, but the motors don't run, and I can see the black mark on the board. Does anyone know of replacement parts for these quads? I can't find one anywhere? I think the board has 391RB on it. It is a 2.4G 6Channel. We had a BLAST flying it, it did tricks, and was really fun for us, we were first time drone fliers and LOVE IT!! Just stinks it broke on us so soon :( Any help would be greatly appreciated by me AND especially my son! THanks for taking the time to read my thread.
 
No idea. Does the box list a manufacturer anywhere? Sometimes they won't list part, but they'll provide them if you ask. Also, I'm assuming that everything on that copter is proprietary, so not likely a generic part you can buy to replace the flight controller or whatever burnt up.

Did you buy it from Amazon? How did it burn up - on its own, or crash? If it burned up on its own, it's defective, so I'd try to get a refund. I know with the products I sell, the manufacturer will replace defective stuff without me having to ship it back to China for verification, rather than losing a wholesale customer - so I usually don't hesitate to replace anything anyone says is defective.

Thanks for the reply! But no crash Manufacturer is Ei-Hi, their return policy is 30 days and I got it from Amazon but it says 30 days there too. I bought it in September but just had it put away until Christmas. I am stuck. I wonder if another 6 channel 2.4g circuit board would work? Ei-Hi website is worthless foe help.
 
I figured Ei-Hi is manufacturer from the amazon page with that quad, but I can't find much about them online. It really depends on what part is fried. There is going to be a control board with gyros that is mostly for stabilization... then there will be your receiever that your transmitter talks to. Unless it's all in one there - which it could be. You might be stuck having to just buy a whole new quad and using this one for parts.... but I don't know if I'd want to buy the same one again if the first one you got was defective. Can you post a pic of what got fried? It's doubtful, but maybe it will be recognizable to one of us.
 
Is it that red board that's no good, or the main blue board? If it's the red, I'm guessing that is the rx, but whatever you found to replace it would need to have the exact same pinout and would need to fit into the socket. Seems like you're out of luck unless you can find some official replacement parts.
 
It's a whole different game, but this is why I chose to build my own quad when I started. When something breaks, you know how to fix it and where to buy the parts. These days, you can build something for $200 and without soldering. Or you can even buy a kit. Sorry I couldn't help more with the Ei-Hi
 
I may go that route because the little taste I got I loved!! I am addicted! I will be visiting this forum regularly.
