Hello all,

Been a while since I've been on a forum, but I just purchased a racer from a shop in Florida. I'm full of questions and eager to learn, so here I am!

Basically I started on a Syma X5 about 2 months ago, and I really liked it. Decided I'd like to play with better/legit FPV racers, so I picked up one of these. I've been practicing on the DRL simulator for the last week or two. I'm excited for the morning, so I can officially give it a go when it's not dark out.

Hopefully I'll get into this pretty seriously and maybe make some good posts. Who knows what sorts of mods and things I'll get up to? Looking forward to it.

Regards,
-JM

I'm in the same boat Jacob, just got a mach 25 but it's snowing outside so haven't been able to fly much yet, really excited just a pending my time learning and reading right now.

if youre just getting started, a racing drone is quite a steep learning curve, esp using fpv. I know from experience. Buy alot of spare props!!! And be careful I had a bad finger incident in spring. Theyre no joke. Good luck and dont get dissapointed. Youre gonna learn how to build drones in no time just from repairing. Ask how I know this ;) good luck Jacob.

due to poor weather I'm practicing in the house with a mini, and I've got sky vipers simulator app too. I'll watch the fingers too :/

Hi! Thanks for the warm welcomes! Been flying a little bit. Took a while to figure out how to swap the yaw and roll controls to the opposite sticks. Finally got it all sorted. Been mainly practicing hovering indoors (while the weather is poor) and basic maneuvers in the back yard. Will probably take the first actual flight this weekend. Really looking forward to it.
