Hey everyone. I'm new to drones, but I'd like to hit the ground flying! I'm staring off inexpensively with a Holy Stone HS110G which I picked up used for around $50. My questions are regarding parts. I see tons of replacement motors available from China, or even within the US on EBay (Marked up China motors of course). Referring to the entry level drones like mine, can I expect that most electric motors are interchangeable based on size - meaning that RPM's are typically the same, or should I look for specifics for each motor to ensure I'm not purchasing a lower RPM motor than needed for my drone? That being said, can I upgrade the motors, change the motors if they fit, provided I change the battery etc, or is that getting into using an ESC which I believe my budget drone does not have? Finally, are there recommended sellers that you guys could recommend, that sell propellers and other components that are specific to the drone being used - or can I use generic props and they will work as long as they are close in size and shape? Sorry for the book, but I don't want to just fly my drone, I want to learn to maintain it, repair it, and hopefully keep it and others for a long time while learning how to maintain it. Thanks all for the help!
