New to drones and looking for advice!

Hey guys,

One of my mates suggested that I rent a drone from Fat Lama as a taster for what kind of drone I may like/potentially purchase in the future. The problem is I don’t really know which of them on there is the best to rent. I’m into photography/video content production, and want to find one that is more suitable for that area. Do any of them on there look suitable? Apologies if this question gets asked a lot, any and all advice is appreciated!

Cheers!

Hey man,

What sort of budget have you got? If you're looking for a drone for photography and cinematography, I think DJI is your best bet. I've got a Mavic Pro and a Phantom 3 Standard and they're both awesome. I honestly think the Phantom 3 Standard is the best value for money drone you can buy. You can get one on amazon for like $430 which is awesome. It can only shoot in 2.7k though, so if you're wanting 4k you'll have to invest slightly more.

Check out the DJI store and see what you thinks best for you, if you want something portable go for a Mavic. The Phantom 4 is awesome as well... So pretty much any DJI Drone. (maybe not the spark for your situation actually).

Completely agree. Only issue with DJI is their customer service. They are notoriously bad with that. With that said, I would still recomment the Phantom 3. Best of luck!

Suggest you just buy one cos I'm afraid you'll love it too much...:p I have a Mavic Pro but if you dont need such quality, a Phantom 4 will be a great option too, I guess it's around $8xx sth on fasttech and sometimes they're with good deals!
