Hello folks,
I'm Shane Retired US Army SGT who lives in Louisiana with my family. I have one 5YO Son and he begged me for a Quad for Xmas. I purchased him and his friend each 1 Nat Geo Quadcopter Drone with Alt Hold and Headless mode. So far so good other than the Neighbor Friend took his up out of range and had a fly away last night. I have noticed the similarities between the Nat Geo quad and MJX 400 series quads. Same designs and batterys accesorry look identical too. The Nat Geo quad has a Camera port and what looks like a a snap in mount for a Camera between the landing gear.
Other than introducing myself and our new found hobby I wanted to ask if anyone who has a MXJ 400 could send me a pic of the underside of their quad so I can confirm that the MXJ FPV Cam C40XX series cam will work.
Additionally if anyone who has the Nat Geo quad has already mounted a GPV style cam I'd like to hear about how.
I have plans to further my hobby likely with a JYU Hornet S and than a large Quad/Octo build down the road kinda Daddy's toy and then something me and my Boy can build together.
Thanks for the help and welcoming me to the team!
For those that will thank me for my service I say Thanks! it was just another day at the office and id do it all again in a heartbeat!!!
