New Product Market Research

I am creating a startup called Icarus, and I want to make sure that my new product is catered to the right market. Right now I am working on my MPV (Minimal Viable Product) to kickstart my product, but I need help determining what to include. To give you an idea of what I have in mind, I want to make a safe and accessible quad-copter that is used by hobbyists, amateur photographers, and outdoor athletes like skateboarders and mountain bikers. This will be a quad-copter that is easily modified and transformed to fit any markets needs. For example, if you were someone who likes to skateboard, you would customize your quad-copter with a small body, medium speed motors, and a large battery. If later you got into long boarding, you would buy fast motors, without having to buy a whole new quad-copter. This may sound like something anyone can do, but not everyone knows how to make a quad-copter from scratch, and I want to make this technology accessible to everyone. Any insight or comments about this product are greatly appreciated.

One last note: If you know any software or hardware engineering, or you are an expert on UAV's, or you think you have a skill that would be valuable to a quad-copter company, and would like to help me evolve Icarus, email me at IcarusOneUAV@gmail.com

If you want a quad that appeals to people that want video of them doing something else, you need to include a fob or other beacon pod so the quad could follow them at a preset distance. What would be better than to be able to mountain bike like a madman and have your quad stay three meters behind you and video you without any intervention at all?
I doubt you could pull it off with skydiving, but it would work for a lot of sports.
