Hello everyone. This will be my first build. I recently ordered a zmr 250 frame. I am curious as to which pdb I should get? Also im looking at the little bee esc and im wondering if I have to flash those? I don't understand how to flash and I would prefer suggestions on an esc that didn't need flashing. Thanks in advance. all help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, looks like you've done your research. You should be fine with that PDB, any with filtered 5V & 12V output will work. Just remember you only get what you pay for. Cheaper PDBs can have regulators that don't last long and are susceptible to voltage spikes. As for the Little Bees, they're excellent and come flashed with the latest BLHeli firmware (16.3 at the moment I believe) But don't worry, flashing firmware is a pretty simple task
 
015.JPG 004.JPG Not a big fan of integrated PDBs, they're pretty vulnerable to crashes. But they do make for a nice tidy build (My ZMR has one). I just use a 36X36 with the flight controller stacked on top.
 
I am actually leaning towards the 4 x Emax MT2204 2300KV Brushless Motors. I will also be running the 20a little bee esc. any thoughts on this setup? will it work together?
 
I have the MTs on my ZMR and they work quite well. As for the little bees, I'd go with 30a. Then you won't ever have to worry
 
Should I run esc's with a bec or no? I have the team legit nucleus pdb board. I just ordered the naze32 rev 6 FC if this matters. Right now it is going to be a simple build with no fpv. but im sure that will change soon.
