New build trouble

Just finnishing up 250 quad build. Configured in clean flight, all motors spinning when checking in clean flight. But not when a hit throttle on transmitter. Showing a reading when i use transmitter in clean flight. but not turning motors. Just binded orange rx and have a new spektrum. Set to ppm. transmitter is binded but not spinning motors. Any ideas?
 
Yes, with battery, right? Is is possible I need to turn down throttle in spectrum because it's too high? It is showing a red line were throttle is on config

Sorry, I posted that before your message appeared. You are arming the flight controller not the transmitter. If you have a Naze32 then the picture above is how you arm it.
 
Naze 32, I haven't set my spektrum dx6i up yet Either. I think I need to adjust some throttle options on the tx. Does this sound like what's happening? I have configured the naze.
 
Do you hold the left stick to the bottom right after you get the battery plugged in? Because this is a safety feature to keep it from being able to power up when you are plugging the battery in or just handling it.
 
Ahh I havnt tried that. Still learning the tx. I know there is a safety feature that's prevents arming is throttle parameters that come set in the tx. I'll try the one you mentioned tomorrow . Thx again
 
Hi mate you must set up DX6I to an aeroplane then bind to receiver , then start to calibrate things , the transmitter is normally the first thing to be set up
 
Lol yes, actually flys pretty good. Just had to reverse directions on my sticks and it's ripping. Next thing I'll need to tackle is flight modes, and programming the switches for them
