So I'm building an inspire clone and I'm collecting my electronics. I want to keep cost to a minimum for now and at a later date maybe replace parts out as funds become available. So far this is what im planning..

Anything you guys think I need? I just want to get this thing off the gound..

Some guy told me that a flight controller is not the same as a flight computer, Is this true? Do I need both.

I plan on 3d printing all necessary non electrical components and I'm an electrician so wiring shouldn't be an issue. Thanks everyone.

You need a flight controller. What you have is a power distribution board (PDB). You need it too, but still need a fCB.

research what you need. I've had good luck with 3 like these. This is a knock off... but CC3D, Naze 32 etc.. are other options.

Avoid the FlySky FS-T6, old tech and not very versatile.

Although a smaller form factor this is considerably more sophisticated.

That one comes with a PPM/PWM RX, it has a 3 way switch (the T6 only has 2 ways), dual antennas (both TX and RX) for great range with the included RX (1700+M) and full failsafes for all channels. Best deal out there.
