Need Replacement motor for Syma X1 is the X5C motor the same ?

Hi, i've checked quite a few websites for a replacement X1 motor but everyone seems to be out of stock... at this point i'm beginning to think it's been discontinued . .i may be wrong.. However i can find plenty of the X5C motor and they "look" the same can anyone confirm if they are compatible ? (even if i have to replace all 4)

Well they use the same pinion and main gear. Just note that the X5 has used 7mm and 8mm motors. Measure yours carefully. Would be best to change out all 4 too.

That said why not move up to a newer budget quad. Contrasting props, fully enclosed gears, motors that stop on impact and nice LEDs. Full selection of parts too and only $24.
