What?!?!? Are you implying that my 600 lumen $3 Chinese flash light might not actually be as bright as my $65 180 lumen 4Sevens Quark?!?!?!? That's preposterous! Blasphemy even!

That's what the instruction manual called it. All I know is that when its used, I no longer have to pay attention to which direction the X5 is facing. Instead, all the directional controls are in relation to the controller. I'm still working on figuring out how it actually works because sometimes the controls are backwards and sometimes their not. Now that I've actually flown the thing some, I need to read the instructions again.

A general tip for getting around the often unintelligible instruction manuals. Lots of good stuff online, especially You Tube. You frequently can view online reviews and other info that will walk you through things like setting up a quad, transmitter functions, etc.

For my Nihui U807 I never would have been able to fly the darn thing if I hadn't run across a great YT primer. The manual was worthless.

Yes, I've been dealing with translated manuals in some form or another for almost 20 years now. Some are better than others, but very few of them are worth the paper they are printed on. Good to know on the YT info. Thanks!
