I am looking for a drone for my 7 year old grandson he is pretty good on them already and does fly my SJRC F11 4K pro with guidance. I want something with landing gear to keep it up out of the grass,Also has to have RTH that actually works. He also want a good camera. I am thinking I probably need GPS to get the RTH, was looking at the SNAPTAIN 600n but can't seem to find one that is available. $200 is about what I want to spend. Any thoughts Thanks

Why not just another F11 or are there other factors, ie below 250gm? There seem to be plenty of sub $200 drones with GPS/brushless and a reasonable camera.

I am looking for something with landing gear to keep it up out of the grass. That is why I was looking at the SNAPTAIN 600n and I should have mentioned I am in Canada and up here the F11 is closer to $400. So I guess I am looking for closer to 100US. Not only that but he has already lost 2 drones not expensive one but still 200 bucks in the hole LOL. So something reasonably priced with a RTH that works is important. I thought about giving him my F11 but it is to temperamental setting it up to fly, if not done perfect it toilet bowels and hard to get back . Also no landing gear.
Thanks for the reply

Banggood has a GPS range around that price but I know nothing about any of them. Hopefully someone else here can adise. I do wonder if some of the cheaper GPS drones share the same software or firmware so this 'toilet bowl' problem might affect a few of the cheaper drones. Anyone?

Thanks for the info gregb49 I do see that info as you stated but a lot to chose from I was kind of hoping someone here has one that they can recommend

Bought a JJRC X17 good drone from what I read
That looks like a good buy to me. It's not an Air 2 but then it is a good price.
My first 'proper' drone was a JJRC X11. On its first flight, I smashed it into a wall at speed, and broke an arm. My fault entirely. Plastic glue sufficed until I got a new arm but it made me realise how robust is the X11. I upgraded the camera, but this X17 looks like all the X11 should be today ie 25mins flying, a stabalised camera, robust, good wind resistance (~500gm), reliable.
I didn't ever get the toilet bowl problem and have always found it to be very reliable, always returning home without problem.
Enjoy.

thanks for the reply, I have read so much about drones in the last weeks I am droned out LOL. JJRC makes good products, and the reviews seem good on this got my fingers crossed it is a good choice.
