Naze32 PPM reciever problem

image.jpg image.jpg Hi everyone

I have just been putting together my new quad and I have finished the build and I am now at the stage of sorting out my acro naze32 in cleanflight. I have just come across a problem which I can't get my head around. Basically I have the flysky fs-i6 transmitter and reciever. The reciever supports ppm and so it is connected to the naze by a single servo wire. My naze board is new and has a slightly different pin layout. The pins for where you connected your reciever are now a long strip of single pins. The receiver is connected to the first 3 pins on the naze board. In cleanflight i have done most of the stuff. I have calibrated the motors and enabled ppm etc. the problem is that when I connect my 3s lipo to the quad through xt60 wire the LEDs on the naze do not come on. Only the LED on the reciever lights up. The transmitter does not connect to the reciever either now. I plugged the quad back into cleanflight and reseted the board and reflashed. When I try to calibrate the motors now they do not spin or anything when the lipo is plugged in.
Please if anyone could help me with this I would be very grateful. Thanks. I will leave some pictures as well. Thanks again.

I didn't see any voltage labeling for the pins like on the iA6.

Is your cable plugged in correctly?

There also seems to be problems with Cleanflight and V6.

Maybe some help here.

I take it you have ESC plugged in? To power the board?

Hope you can fix it easily. I had a nightmare with mine for a while.

I am pretty sure I have everything connected correctly. On my PDB I have the xt60 pig tail connected to the 5v pads, not the same ones as the escs are connected to. Is what I have done ok. Also I have just tried wiping the board and reflashing in cleanflight but when I do motor calibration they don't spin when battery is plugged in. My transmitter is bound to reciever but it will not connect. Really frustrating. Do you have any idea what the problem maybe. thank you for your help

I think that connector should be connected to the PDB somewhere else. If you PDB has a step down to 5v that is.
Your ESC should be getting full power from the lipo. The 5v step down would be what you'd use to power the board if your ESC done have a BEC in them.

This may all be off point or not 100% as I'm still learning myself. Haha.

Ok well thanks anyway.
