As there seems yet to be ongoing controversy in the hobby as to whether this combination is even possible, I am attaching pics of the package I received fully assembled last night from Atlanta Hobby. Have not flown the quad yet, but have tested camera and gimbal and all works fine.

Sorry for the typo, title was supposed to read "Zemuse," but I apparently am not able to correct it at this end (thank you spell check).

Title fixed! Beautiful copter! Atalanta Hobby is a great seller. My girlfriend ordered my Naza board from there for me last Christmas and they were extremely helpful.

Thank you for the spell fix, MM. Yes, I'm impressed with Atlanta Hobby.

2 Questions: when power is off, the camera is not balanced in place. Only when powered on does it come to a face down position and then is balanced. Is this normal or should the non-powered position be in balance?

If this is normal, anything I can buy to secure the camera in place (while in my case) from swinging loosely around? I'm assuming this free movement can't be good for the gimbal.

Well, flew my first DJI Phantom 2 today in GPS, Atti and Fail Safe (testing them all out). Love this copter! Gimbal held tight and clean despite the winds. Atti flying was a blast.

Took some need videos. My 7" monitor was staticy and does not seem to have good range. Will call seller tomorrow.

I'm hooked!

Anybody know where I can get a lens cap that won't interfere with the camera's rectangular mount? Couldn't seem to find anything on Amazon or Ebay.

I'm not sure about the camera position on vs. off or where you can find that lens cap. I'd try reaching out to Atlanta Hobby. They would probably know!

My wife, who has only flown to Hawaii (not piloting), flew the DJI Phantom 2 with no problem. OK, when she couldn't see the lights and know what direction it was facing, she did panic and handed the transmitter back to me. Just put it in Fail-Safe Mode and brought it home. First hobby both my wife and I are able to share. She's really into photography and I'm looking forward to FPV flying with monitor and glasses.

Installed Nazza M and IOC (without manual operation) and, again, I just love this quad. Working now on getting a better monitor and FPV glasses. Will probably go with FatShark Dominators V2. I'm told by Cliff at Atlanta Hobby that the long await FatShark HDs, at least right now, will not transmit HD because there are presently no devices on quads that will transmit such a signal. Bought the prop guards and easily removable hubs---VERY NICE. Also going to buy a camera guard because the Hero 4, as I've already posted, tends to lean right and that right corner touches the ground, also going to do extended legs.
