My motor nuts are self loosening!!

I have the QAV LHI 250, it looks like i did the motors in the correct way except the fact that i may have put them exactly backwards. Can i simply reverse the polarity of all the motors and be fine? or would it be better to simply redo it all?

... If those are BL Heli ESCs you can just reverse their directions in their software app, but if they're SimonK (which I think they are)
you hafta reflash them using "Reverse" option ... OR you can just swap the outer two wire's connections.

Never ever reverse the polarity of the motors. They at are made to rotate in one direction and if you reverse the polarity you will screw up the brushes in the motor.

 Yeah, on a toy quad with brushed motors, but if the motor has three wires and runs off of ESCs then it's brushless !

The motors spin in the correct direction, the problem is I put the clockwise in the counter clockwise and the counter clockwise in the clockwise, so the motor nuts screw off in flight.

... Short answer: Nope

The flight controller will be all out of whack too then.
I suppose you could possibly "mirror" everything in the FC to compensate for it, but you'd probably be better off
just putting the motors in the correct positions.

Its fixed
You could have loaded a custom motor configuration and reversed the throttle authority for each if you did decide to reverse the direction of the motors, however I'd suggest against this because The current configuration is standard, even though the other would have flown just fine; it would have been a pain down the road.

So for future reference you can reverse the motors if you also go into the motor configuration and reverse the throttle authority. This would tell the flight controller that the motors were reversed. At some point you would probably get all four props on just to realize they are all wrong hahaha

... Yeah, I mentioned that too, but it's probably best to just do it right ;)
This is one of those grey areas where "could" and "should" differ. This is one of the reasons I like having all CCW motors with normal right-hand thread. As long as you use nylocks and tighten them a reasonable ammount they don't come off. They are a lot cheaper to replace and then you don't have to worry about remembering which way to turn, or which nut went where.
