I have done a ton of research and i have spent some time with a friends drone and i have my heart set on the dji f450. I am based in the south of the uk.
However gathering everything i need seems to be 'part of the fun' proving tiresome.
First of all what is the reputation of drones direct.

Secondly for a setup for basic flying will this all be sufficient.

Landing gear

The reasoning for the landing gear is i eventually will be using this for photography but also for fun/speed. Whixh is why i chose the f450.

Any advice is welcomed as im very new to this world of building your own :) and even better if anyones knows a shop in the south i can go and pick this up from

Your listed supplier for the F450 bundle states: "Complete Bundle", but (and unless I'm missing something) there doesn't seem to be any mention whatsoever of motors or ESC's? Are they actually included??

All I see is the frame itself (which includes power distribution PCB), and the flight controller/GPS module… not quite what I might understand to be a "Complete Bundle"

Thanks
Il keep looking then. If anyone knows of a reputable supplier in the uk id really appreciate a point in the right direction

Well, not so fast! The kit you found includes what I understand to be a pretty darned good FC… I can't comment on the relative competitiveness of UK pricing (We moved from the UK to Canada 15 years ago - I'm not 'up' on the strength of the GBP any longer!). Perhaps consider pricing it out from the same vendor with your choice of motors & ESCs to see whether it's still within range of your anticipated budget?

As an example for strictly comparative pricing purposes (I too am a complete noob, so please don't take any of the following as 'gospel', or as a "certified config"… let those with far more experience/knowledge than I help guide you there!)

Hobbyking offer a 'plain' SK 450 chassis for ~$20USD, onto which you'd need to add your own (and I quote):

4 x 28mm 1000~1200kv (or similar size/kv)
4 x 15~25 Amp ESC
4 x 8x4~10x4.5 Prop (2CW & 2CCW)
1 x HobbyKing Multi-Rotor Control Board
1 x 1500~2200mAh 3s 11.1v Lipoly battery
Your own radio and 4 channel receiver

They sell the Naza M-Lite FC with GPS for $169USD

They (HK) recommend 28mm motors on their frame, so a set of 4 motors with 20A ESC's would run around $86USD.

Don't forget to consider any shipping & import duties.
