Must Recalibrate GPS Each Time I Replace Battery in H501s

I have to do the clockwise rotate then with the nose down do the route EVERYTIME I insert a fresh battery into the quadcopter. What am I doing wrong.

Also the time stamp on the videos and pictures is December 31, 1979. What's with that?

That's normal, it's a safety feature of the drone before it will let you take off, not an issue with the gps. It's the calibration of the compass so the drone will fly correctly.

I beleive you can add a text file to your SD card to adjust the date/time.
